How Does Laser Vein Removal Work?

The 1064 Laser delivers intense wavelengths of light directly to the leg vein where it heats the blood. When this occurs, the heating of the blood causes the vessel to constrict and eventually fade from view.

What Can I Expect During and After Treatment?

An IPL leg vein removal treatment is safe, painless and incurs no down-time. The laser will be placed over the leg vein and as the light pulses into the vein you will feel a mild sensation on the skin that feels similar to a light rubber band snap. There will be an audible tone while the laser is working to remove the vein and a small flash in light.

After a leg vein treatment the vessels will darken and then disappear or shrink. You may experience pinkness and mild swelling for up to 72 hours following the procedure.
